Dr Raffat Attiq

Dr. Raffat Attiq is a highly experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist who has been in the field for over 20 years.

Dr Attiq gained many years of expertise while working overseas and then completed her specialist training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Dr Attiq also completed a Masters in Reproductive Health from UNSW in 2020 to add to her wealth of knowledge regarding women’s health.

In the past two decades, she has dealt with an abundance of complex cases, enabling her to provide the most optimal care to her patients. She is currently the clinical obstetric lead at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and supervises the high-risk pregnancy and diabetic clinics. Dr Attiq also enjoys teaching and mentoring junior doctors. She is a training supervisor for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in the Riverina region and a senior lecturer at the UNSW medical school. She also provides obstetrics training to GPs in the region.

Dr. Attiq is extremely passionate about women’s health and believes that high quality care is every woman’s right. As a mother of 3, she understands the importance of a work-life balance in motherhood and seeks to provide her patients with personalised care plans and peace of mind. In doing so, she limits her private patient intake to ensure all patients receive the best care possible.

Dr Attiq loves to spend quality time with her family. Her hobbies include cooking and travelling to explore new places.
